Vienna continued

 Thursday 25th and Friday 26th July Vienna  There is so much to see in Vienna, you need at least a couple of weeks, I decided to take it easy and booked one thing for each of the next two days, besides the weather was really hot - up around 30 - not the best for being a tourist, or a tourist getting over a cold.  Thursday I decided on visiting the Upper Belvedere, essentially it is now an Art Gallery, booked myself in for around 12 noon so no hurry to get out and about, It wasn’t too far to walk I passed this on the way. The pink building was a riding school? Wouldn’t have seen it if I had not been walking, then I walked through the University botanical gardens which led through to the Upper Belvedere. There were lots of park benches amongst the trees down each side of the pond and lawn so sat there for a while until it was time to find the entry. My ticket had a timed entry. So I people watched. Vienna Arrival and Day one

 Tuesday 23rd & Wednesday 24th July. Unfortunately have to say goodbye to Prague so quickly, taxi to the train station, Eek - I wasn’t sure where to start, luckily I had lots of time to orient myself, Had to wait until about 15 mins before departure before they told you what platform it was leaving from. There are two main corridors leading to the platforms South and North - in Czech North starts with S and South with J. Got to the platform and asked a couple next to me if they knew which way the carriages were numbered. They were from New Zealand so just as knowledgeable as me! Train trip was nice and relaxing, countryside a lot drier than what I had been looking at in Great Britain, must be all the hot weather, could see quite a few above ground swimming pools in the backyards of houses we passed in the countryside.  My hotel entrance was halfway down an alley, which was a little confusing when taxi dropped me off, took a while to find the sign.
